Rear Sets with GP shift (reverse)

OK so this is the last piece of my track bike build puzzle and it has also been the most wishy-washy as information out of Japan keeps changing... As a distributor of Sato Racing products I was hoping they would come through with rear sets that allow GP shift and initially it looked like that was NOT going to happen then they started working on designs for the newer CB1000F model which is almost idential to the Hornet SP and it looks like they found a solution to adding reverse shift without messing up the factory Quickshift /Autoblip electronics, but I still as of 08/24/26 do not have confirmation that this is going to be available for the Hornet...

I will no doubt still install their rear sets as the quality is amazing and double ball bearings instead of bushing gives me the exact engagement and feel I have come to expect from my rear sets, but if they do not have an option for Reverse shift pattern with the electronics then I am going to modify their base model rear sets and use the factory pivot arm on the bike to add a rotating shift platform like they used to do on the older CBR600RR's and 1000RR's. I am currently waiting on a few more parts to arrive to complete this mock up

Idea #1

Idea #2 - Problem Solved
This rotational axis will allow GP Shift with a different lever from on the Sato Racing Base Plate

Essentially this is the way the Sato Racing Rear sets for the Hornet SP have been designed on the shifter side.

I am going to install this type of pedal with the rotational axis to allow the Reverse Shift
